Halloween Update: Plans for rest of 2019 and beyond, Pokémon Sword and Shield now open for preload on Nintendo Switch.

Happy Halloween, everyone. First off: I apologize in advance for how busy I've been, but my look at "Pokémon Shipwreck" will be out as soon as it's done, and I hope that will be soon. My plans for the rest of 2019 are to continue with my work on the content from the Indigo League; ideally moving on to the Orange Islands and Johto region in 2020. I also have other articles in mind that I'm working out how I want to approach for the near future.

Second, as of this writing, Pokémon Sword and Shield are now available for preload on Nintendo Switch, with both the individual games and the double pack featuring them together available at list price. The install size is 9.5 gigabytes, so make sure you have enough space on your system or SD card if you plan to download them. This installs the game and gets it ready for its launch on November 15, which I am looking forward to.  If anyone else wants to join me, my Switch FC is
