Further thoughts on Pokémon Sword and Shield (November 15, 2019).
Hey fellas: I am currently working on more content, and I will most likely have it out after my finals tomorrow morning at the earliest. In the meantime, I thought I would give you some more of my thoughts on the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield for Nintendo Switch, coming on November 15 of this year.
With a Nintendo Direct presentation on June 5 revealing more information, I am even more looking forward to the eighth generation of the long-running games. The new mechanic of "Dynamax" looks like it will be lots of fun to play with; and I'm very eager to see more of how it works. More gameplay reveals more of the new gym battles; such as the Grass Type Leader Milo. This time, you will be given the task of traveling around the Galar region by Professor Magnolia and her granddaughter Sonia. Other new characters include a young rival named Hop and the undefeated champion Leon.
There is also a host of new Pokémon unveiled, with more to come. The legendary beast in Sword will be called Zacian, with the legendary in Shield being called Zamazenta. Other newcomers include Dreadnaw, who resembles a snapping turtle; the floral Gossifleur and its evolved form Eldegoss. Two monsters that have stood out are Wooloo, who resembles a sheep and my personal favorite of these reveals, Corviknight; who looks like a large raven. My first choice for a name would be Tokoyami, and I will have to think about what other names I would like for them.
Overall, I am very impressed with how development has progressed over past few months; and I am also glad that there will be more details during Nintendo's E3 conference this week. I will most likely be trying to change my avatar's outfit as soon as I can, since I'm not feeling the default clothes of the male player character. That will be all for now, I will bring you more content and any new information on these games as I get it. Later.
